Frederico Castellon, Taos Tryst, 14x11
$75
Federico Castellon (1914-1971) Born in Spain, Castellon was largely self-taught etcher, lithographer, painter and teacher. In 1934, with the help of Diego Rivera, he received a traveling fellowship that allowed him to travel to European museums to study the works of the masters. He also received two Guggenheim Fellowships. His work has been described as super-realism or surrealism, much of it having a strange, fascinating quality. Print is matted and ready for framing.
