Martin Lewis (1881-1962) was an Australian born, mostly self-taught, etcher, lithographer, painter, illustrator and teacher, who is considered one of the greatest American printmakers of the first half of the twentieth century. The way he was able to capture the spirit and energy of New York City, particularly at night, was quite breathtaking. Print is matted and ready for framing.
